Who Owns the PO Web Site?

The PO web site is owned by Purely Organic Ltd. and is managed with the help of some friends. Please feel free to share information about any type of high quality organic foods. We aren't so selfish as to believe that the ones we sell are the only game in town.

FOR NEW VISITORS: READ THIS FIRST

After more than 10 years of importing unique Italian organic products from small artisan producers for our American customers (large and small), we thought it might be fun to give those customers a way to be able to talk to each other (as well as to us) directly on line. So this site (simply called PO) has been designed for people to do just that.

Share recipes that use our products. Tell us about your own travels in Italy. Send your friends here when they tell you, "That tastes incredible! What on Earth is that? Where did you get it?"

The "Hot News" Column

ROSE SYRUP: The Magliano Organic Rose Syrup is in and available to ship! Also available are Violet Syrup, Mint Syrup, and Rose Petal Jam. They are now live on our website!

We just found and joined this website with lots of great artisan and local products:

HONEY: We just spoke to our beekeeper, Giuseppe Follino. He told us that Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD), which has been spreading around the world, has hit Italy. This is ironic, because the species of honeybee that is used in most commerical hives originated in Italy. Giuseppe says that his production is way down. He has some Mixed Flower and Orange Blossom honeys for us, and hopes to have the other varieties this summer. We'll keep you posted. Meanwhile, check out this website for news of CCD.

Stramondo marzipan and Mosto d'Uva are both now back in stock!
